Zoning Bylaw and Development PermitsThe RM of Good Lake has had a zoning bylaw in place since 1984. » » Zoning Bylaw No. 2 - 1984 as Amended, Consolidated Version, November 2011 The SR-1 Summer Resort District refers to Canora Beach, Good Spirit Lake Summer Resort, Ponderosa, Sandy Beach, Trappers' Cove, M&M Tiechko Beach and Northshore Resort. The SR-2 Summer Residential District refers to Good Spirit Acres. The SR-3 Summer Residential District refers to Burgis Beach. When making an application for a development permit, one of the main issues will be the placement of your building on the lot. You will need to know the size of your lot, where your property lines and your survey pins really are. From there, you can measure how far from each property line the walls of your proposed building will be.
